Join the Nouveau WI today! 

The 2008-09 Membership fee is $45 (A.K.A. $3.75/month – what a bargain!!)

While we think it’s great to belong to an organization that has contributed as much as Women’s Institute (they ARE 110 years old), here are some benefits that really pack a punch!

• Discounted admission to Nouveau WI events (for example, $3 off EACH DDPP event you attend – which basically pays for your entire Membership in itself!)
• A group of like-minded women that want to learn from and share experiences with other women – but want to have fun while doing it.
• A chance to make a difference in the community through fundraising events, advocacy and creating awareness – focusing on the issues that are important to you!
• Connection and Networking opportunities – social time with other women and the larger community
• An opportunity to develop skills and gain experience
• PLUS, the FWIO Provincial newsletter, the opportunity to attend Provincial Conferences, access to training events, a chance to participate in FWIC/ACWW conferences and events (national and international conferences).

The Nouveau WI belongs to the Federated Women’s Institutes of Ontario. This is great news for us because as a new non-profit group it’s like having built in credibility. It also means we get insurance coverage for our special events and activities (which can be VERY expensive) and the ability to issue charitable tax receipts (on approved projects). When women contact the FWIO Provincial Office looking for a Branch to join, the Nouveau WI will be recommended to women in this area.
